Music Ministry

We have some very talented musicians at FCCM. John Hays, our choir and bell choir director, is "growing" the choir, having them present beautiful music to the glory of God.  He is "oh so" talented. Come and listen to the music - or better yet, come and join the choir. Handbells-Mondays at 6:00 p.m., Adult Choir-Thursdays at 6:00 p.m., Junior Handbell Ensemble-Saturdays at 10:00 a.m.

JHays, John 2.jpgohn Hays, our Music Director, plays the piano  and keyboard. He plays during worship services and often during special services like the Live Nativity. He directs our Handbell Choir and Children's Tone Chime Choir along with the Adult Choir.

Dore Davich, in the picture at the right, is an extremely talented flautist. Often she shares with the FCCM congregation on Sunday mornings.

music_5.jpgGary Stark is also highly talented. He has the ability to play anything on the piano, and play it extremely well. He and John Hays play for the worship service.

Carolyn Drown is an extremely talented pianist. She plays the prelude, communion meditation music, and postlude once a month. The other three musicians alternate Sundays to provide a uniquely beautiful musical experience. John, Dore, and Gary complete the quartet of talented musicians.

New Year Reminder: If you need to communicate something with me, please do so directly; in person, email(, etc. Several times during the past few months communication has stalled or fallen apart because "someone told someone else to tell John something" - that technique seldom works and the time and energy it takes to straighten things out is frustrating and non-productive. It is true, I am not a phone person, but if you call me and leave a message I will get back to you. Many thanks for your consideration.

Rehearsals Resume: Handbells-Mondays at 6:00 p.m., Adult Choir-Thursdays at 6:00 p.m., Tone Chime Ensemble-Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. For more information contact John Hays via email at or contact the church office via email @ or phone 321-723-6831.
